Introduction
As a result of several years of research and development, we were able to integrate our photoacoustic system into a compact and highly reliable form. The system integration phase was completed in collaboration with the R&D Department of the Videoton Holding Rt. who provided the necessary engineering background. The system consists of a detector and an electronic unit. The detector unit contains the diode laser, photoacoustic cells, the gas inlet and outlet pipes and a heatable external housing. The electronic unit, which controls the measurements, performs data collection and calculates the concentration of the measured component (or components), can operate either in a stand-alone mode, can be connected to a computer or can be integrated into an industrial control system.
