Possible Application Areas of our Systems
Our photoacoustic systems can find applications at various areas in the natural gas industry, such as quality control at gas transfer or sales points, where they can supplement chromatographs by measuring the very critical water vapor and hydrogen-sulfide concentration on-line and fully automatically. They can also be used for process control at a natural gas dehydration unit, where they can measure the water vapor content of the dried natural gas. Yet another application of our system is to be operated as process control instrument at a glycol reconcentration (also called regeneration) unit, where they can measure the water content of the glycol both the wet and the dry glycol. Moreover our hydrogene-sulfide (H2S) measuring system can be used in process control of a sweetening (de-sulfurization) unit. In such demanding applications our systems already proved they excellent reliability and high stability. In addition, our systems can be used for determining the concentration of additional components in natural gas such as methane, ethane, C2+, CO2, particulate matter and others. Our systems have the necessary simplicity, robustness and reliability to serve as control instrument in sophisticated process control applications. The WaSul systems are commercially available from Hilase Ltd.
