Reference Systems

The airborne water vapor monitoring systems developed by our research group measures the water content of the troposphere on-board on a passenger aircraft within the CARIBIC project sponsored by the European Union since December 2004.
The other water vapor detection system was tested upper tropospheric/ lower stratospheric conditions in the large environmental chamber AIDA (Aerosol
Interactions and Dynamics in the Atmosphere) in the Research Center Karlsruhe.
Multi-wavelength photoacoustic aerosol measuring system was successfully tested and compared with a large set of recently developed or common instrumentation both under the laboratory (Institute for Tropospheric Research, Leipzig, November 2005.) and field circumstances (Field Measuring Campaign, Roveredo, December 2005.).
Concentration of the ammonia has been monitored at the FAL experimental field site (irrigated wheat-field) Braunschweig using the photoacoustic ammonia sensor (25.05. - 06.06. 2005.).
Our ozone measuring system was successfully tested at the environmental monitoring station of the Lower Tisza Valley Environmental Inspectorate.
