Diode lasers
As light sources a distributed-feedback (DFB) diode lasers are used in our systems. These lasers have superior spectral properties such as narrow line width, single mode operation and wide tuneable wave range. The advantageous properties, such as simple and low-cost operation, small size, reliability, and long lifetime, make the on-line or even in-line adaptation of diode lasers feasible. All these benefits make their application in industrial process control very promising.

Our multi-wavelength photo- acoustic aerosol system was successfully tested in a measurement campaign at the Research Center Karlsruhe (18-28 April 2006).
