Aerosol research

The four-wavelength (266, 355, 532 and 1064 nm) aerosol measuring photoacoustic system developed by our research group is unique even in international relations. Compared to other instruments, it is able to measure the optical absorption spectra of aerosols in a much wider wavelength range in real time and without sampling errors. In our research, beside further development of the system, we focus on exploiting the opportunities it offers (source identification, studying climatic impact, toxicity, etc.).
