Medical research

Breath analysis provides information on metabolism and the biological condition of the body, thus it is a dynamically developing area of medical diagnostics. Because of their advantageous properties, gas detectors based on photoacoustic spectroscopy can exquisitely be adapted for in vivo measurements. We work in cooperation with several medical research groups of University of Szeged. Our long term objective is to develop diagnostic methods based on gas analysis for early recognition of diseases.
